One of the most important departments at Logan Bus Company is the Safety Department. Logan takes pride in its “Safety Makes Sense” core value. Therefore, they only employ officials who understand safety and can successfully implement and enforce proven safety practices. Logan specifically employs former law enforcement officers, as well as retired officers – from many different areas within law enforcement – as their Safety Officers. The Logan Safety Officers use their former professional expertise in ‘good safety practices’ to transport students safely and efficiently on a daily basis. Many of the Safety Officers have certified safety training certificates, continued education credits in safety or insurance, as well as receive additional safety training at Logan. Additionally, they conduct field investigative reports and follow up reports in the Logan Safety Vehicles. Logan Bus Company Safety Officers are on the road and out in the field every day ensuring Logan remains one of the safest school bus fleets on the road!
